This vehicle started showing issues with key fob not working - gas gauge not accurate next cruise control light on also check engine light pointing to bad fuel pump sensor units - i've researched this and this is known issue - my car has only 70 k miles on it and huyndai refuses to do fix as this is not a recall and car is out of warranty - i say this is known issue and huyndai should cover this as a recall -…

Fuel System, Gasoline · Service Brakes

Brought vehicle in to shop for front end noise. Found needed front brakes, pads, rotor, caliper. Repaired the items.the shop also noticed and stated "has a fuel leak at the tank (should be a recall"). I don't find any recall here. Any suggestions? I'm not making a complaint, just need to know if this is a recall. Thank you. *tr

While driving home, my vehicle began to make clunking noises, while in the process of exiting the highway, for safety reasons, the car cut off on the exit ramp. Before attempting to restart the vehicle; a passerby shouted that the vehicle was on fire. Upon exiting the vehicle the police were on the scene and extinguished the fire. The vehicle was then towed to a local body shop to await a tow to my place of…

2009 hyundai santa fe limited with a 3.3 liter engine with approximately 53,500 mi. I was setting stopped on a city street with my foot on the brake when the engine suddenly started revving up as fast it could go (app 6k to 7k rpm's). It was all i could do to keep the vehicle from taking off and slamming into the vehicle in front of me. It was creeping along and tapped the truck in front of me when i got the vehicle…

Fuel System, Gasoline · Fuel/Propulsion System

Faulty fuel sensor gauge. When trying to fill an empty tank the pump shuts off after only a couple of gallons. If i wasn't paying attention i would have thought it was full. I've seen complaints that the fuel gauge stops working on this car at similar mileage, if that happens too i won't know how much gas is in my car. I could then run out of gas while driving and lose power steering. This is an accident hazard. *tr

Fuel System, Gasoline · Fuel/Propulsion System

The fuel gauge started behaving erratically at 75000 miles. The fuel level sensor can suddenly drop to empty, then come back to 1/2 full and then to empty. It cannot show fuel level properly. This is serious hazard issue as owner cannot correctly tell fuel level while driving. Owner has 10year 100k power chain warranty but hyundai dealer refused to fix this issue as they claimed this is not part of power chain. This…
