When coming to a stop light vehicle would stall intermittently, upon restart it would not exceed 10-15 mph for about 1 mile. Then, it would not shift until 40 mph was reached. Vehicle was taken to dealer 6 times, catalytic converter was replaced twice, did not remedy the problem. Part of crankshaft was replaced, vehicle has not stalled since. Please provide name of part.*ak

The vehicle has stalled twice while driving up to speeds of 60 mph. There is no power, no gas, nothing. The second time it stalled i was in the caldecott tunnel, highway 24, berkeley ca. Driving at a speed of 60 mph. There is no place to pull over for safety. Thankfully the tunnel is on a downhill slope, and i was able to coast out of the tunnel and pull over to the side of the road. At approximatlely 50-60 mph the car has a engine miss. Car loses power that can last for a second or more. Problem is a intermittent one. I have had it to the dealer at least 5 times. They have replaced the computer and the mass air sensor but the problem still happens. It seems to happen more when the truck is under load ie: going up a hill, passing. *ak
